My heart was racing as I prepared myself for my first PvP encounter. While I was looking into a sack inside the building, I heard footsteps nearby. I wasn't sure if I could get inside, but merely right clicking it and choosing "open/close" did the trick, and I strolled right in and helped myself to more loot inside. I continued to work my way through the village, taking anything that seemed valuable until I came to the larger house. I tried to equip the weapons but apparently didn't have the skills.

The second one I checked held a full suit of light chainmail armor, which I immediately donned, as well as a morningstar and nordic axe. I saw a number of small sacks laying around and rifled through them. There were crops growing, a couple chicken coops, a forge, and numerous appliances. I found a small cluster of tiny huts and one larger plaster house. Once they were gone, I dropped all of my belongings near my hut and took a hike over the mountain to investigate their village. A third player logged in and chatted with the first a bit. I made a note of the intel and resumed my business. Mark: Our village is between the big mountain and a smaller mountain to the north Syeed: It's more about figuring out how to find it than anything else at this point Mark: We have a place to dig ironm we can show you how

Mark: My m8s and I joined this server awhile ago, we are ahead of everyone else :) Syeed: I probably will join, just not sure if I'm going to stay on this server. Mark: Well, are you asking because you want to join us? :) Syeed: Just trying to figure out basic gameplay at this point Mark: You should come and join our village Syeed: I just joined this server yesterday. Basically Flux needs to be more accessable. While I was doing all this, another player logged in to the otherwise abandoned server and hailed me in global chat. In fact Charcoal is used as flux in the making of steel IRL back in the day. It seems like an unnecessary waste of player time to limit the building of a castle to wait for a bunch of guys in robes to run around picking flowers to make flux so they can blend mortar. Flux is too important for building, it should be craftable by so simpler means, like crusing Marble, or be prospectable as another mineral resource. I don't think those should be attached to the randomness of the herbalism system. However, there is 2 main exceptions I want to address. I recently started working with the alchemy system or rather the herbalism system, but it looks a lot like the elder scrolls style and I like that system, so it's working out for me. Still, we are supposed to help with the testing of stuff, so if we don't tell them if the stuff works or not, are we doing our part? I'd say the bones aren't so bare as all that, but I know it's all coming eventually.
