January 7th, 2022 Update: The tentative start date for the CGC Winter 2022 programming season is now Tuesday, February 1st, 2022. Ģ022 Winter Programs Update – Tentative Feb. Booking of activities will continue, along with existing Public Health requirements of wearing masks while inside the facility, and providing full proof of vaccination to enter beyond the access gates. These restrictions include 50% capacity with social distancing for recreation facilities and reduced sport participant numbers.
Public Health restrictions that took effect on December 22nd, 2021 were set to expire on January 12th, 2022, but will now continue until January 31st, 2022 ( Press Release ). The Field House, Track and Fitness Centre will still be available though! Thank you for your understanding. This means our Aquatics Centre will be closed for the remainder of the day. 15th, 2022 (12:30pm update): We will be reopening at 2pm today on generator power at the CGC due to a power outage in the area. ***UPDATED Weather Notice: Delayed Opening until 2pm, Jan.
